Thousand of phones now on my phone

Hi,
Thanks for accepting me to this forum; I am hoping someone can help me here.
I have a goggle account on my computer which is almost empty.
It is the same goggle account in my phone.
Yet for some reason ever photo on my computer has transferred to the phone. Fortunately most of them are only stock images of no use on my phone.
How did this happen, and more importantly how can I stop this. It must have ate away all my data away doing this. How do I get control of this.

Hi, welcome !
Because your accessing your Google account in both places computer and phone .you can go into Google photos and Google drive apps on the phone and change them to sync only WiFi.

Welcome to Android Central! Are these photos also in your Google Photos in the cloud? Go to photos.google.com on your computer browser and see if those images are there.
