Just FYI, there is a new promotion from today where you get free 3 months Samsung Care+. I just tried enrolling with my preorder Fold 4 I received few days back and was offered the 3 months free Care+.

Thanks for posting this... I signed up for it but I most likely will cancel after the 4th month.

Still more expensive than getting Wireless Protection Plan from Verizon which includes theft and loss for $7.95/mo.

I have the Device Protection covering 4 phones and 1 tablet. 2 of those phones are unlocked bought from Samsung.
I just opened the app, and I see my Galaxy watch 4 says declined, but all of the other devices show 'registered'
I always call to verify when I get a new device, but the new devices go on automatically once I insert the SIM.
Hopefully you just got bad info from the rep you talked to.
Keep us posted if another rep gives you a different response.

Nice thanks for the info, I just signed up on Wednesday and just cancelled to got my $11 back. Signed up again and got the 3 months free.

Hmm, can I cancel my Samsung Care+ that I signed up during pre-order and then order this one? Hmmm.

I'm still going to try to get the year they promised. I got the Samsung Care when I pre-ordered bc they said the first year was free. Doubt I will be successful but I should get the three months at least.

Hoping you get the year!

To get the free 3 months you would first have to cancel your current and then enroll to the free 3 months. Otherwise I don't think they can do it any other way.
