So I loaded the BAMF forever rom on my thunderbolt last night. All seems well except for the minor thing that if I lose 4G my phone will stay in 3G until I restart it. Is this a problem with the radio?

I found these radio files.

From the 2.11.605.3 RUU:

CDMA: 1.48.00.0906
md5: c6a5a9eee78e0f33267fa80ced3c49b8
LTE: 0.01.78.0906
md5: 6f33809cf2253c38a3c6bb970f030eee

When downloaded they are names the same. I heard that you have to flash twice with the two different files. Do i put one file in the root...Flash it with hboot..restart the phone..remove first file and replace with 2nd file??? and then reflash with hboot. Is that how it works?

Just want to know before I jump on the grenade.

As long as I am asking questions. does nandroid backup also backup the radio at the same time?

Thanks
Greg

Yes, yes, and if needed again, yes!!!

Looks like the same files I link to in my signature.

You can always download ROM Manager and then start the program and pick "Flash CLOCKWORKMOD Recovery" (from within the program) and instead of having to load them...rename them...load them...rename them, you can create a directory (i.e. ROMS) and put all your ROMS, Radio, extras, etc (with whatever name), in there and then just pick from within ROM Manager "Install ROM from SD Card", navigate to the directory and install that way. Super simple!

nobody on any video, or even in the link in your signature says what to do with the second file. They just show them flashing the radio and saying they are done.

A lot of people keep the radios separate and you can just flash one at a time, so it is possible to mix and match. Adr has a thread at the bamf forums that has the radios paired together so you can flash both at the same time.

You have to be a member to view links, but this is a nice radio thread
