I thought it was hilarious how Netflix had a press release for the devices that were added for compatibility of the app and the update didn't hit the market yet. I put the app on the phone and was like "WTF?!" when the video stopped and kicked me back to the search screen. Needless to say, I was at work and was like "Oh, they'll fix it soon". Now we can waste even more time at work!! Yay Netflix!

Both. There is a limit, but I do it while my step-son is watching all the time.

So, I don't think I've seen my battery drop that fast while watching an hour's worth of programming. I had to turn the brightness up so I could see it. Even plugging my USB cable in from my computer was not enough to keep the battery from dying (a message came up and said that my current power drain is greater than my incoming power and to switch to AC, or something like that).

Now I experience one of the things that was talked about before the TB came out, the fact that the USB port is in the worst possible spot for watching movies. Oh well, with all that said I am enjoying having Netflix!

I feel bad for those that didn't get in on unltd data. I had netflix running on my 45 minute drive home to test it. I used about 300mb. At that rate you could run through a 2gb data cap in about 6 or 7 hours. New higher pricing plus data caps are not good for netflix's future.

My thoughts exactly! I really wanted GB for Netflix, and now I don't really care about GB after today lol. That plus my Slingbox just makes this thing a time waster extraordinaire!

Also, I had Netflix and Slingbox on my iPhone 3GS (boooooo I know!) before my switch, and the battery drain was just as fast when watching content. So it's not just another TB issue with fast battery drain on either Netflix or Slingbox.

The cynic in me sees new VZW "NCast" data features, at a price, of course, that do not count against your normal data allotment limits. Kinda like VCast. Profits split with Netflix, of course.
