try to let us know if there is a 4G toggle
Ok...Had some time to play. Cannot address battery life, since it was half charged when I got it. Sorry, gonna have to wait til tomorrow on that and I am as hopeful as everyone is that it will be efficient.
The speaker is awesome!!! Sooooo loud for music and notifications. You will be happy with this. I am playing Pandora and the music is loud enough to be useful and surprisingly good all things considered (tinny and no bass). Probably the best phone speaker out there. Vibration is no better or worse than most phones. They did add the ability to have a little sound, which reminds me of the iPhone when opening and closing from sleep (may have always been there, but haven't seen it personally).
I tested the speed multiple times in multiple rooms. Generally speaking, even with 1 bar in the basement, I was averaging around 10Mb/sec down and about 25Mb/sec up. Not sure why the upload is so crazy fast. My guess is Verizon will throttle this soon. Testing the Mobile Hotspot using my new iPad 2 with wifi, I was seeing an average of 3-4Mb down and 5-8Mb up.
For the life of me, I cannot find a 4g toggle. There isnt a widget and I cannot find it in the settings. Im either very obtuse or it just isnt there. I've had the EVO 4G, so I dont think its the former.
Call quality is solid and the earpiece speaker is loud. Had no trouble hearing callers and they me. Simultaneous voice and data works. Nice to have finally Verizon!
Thats all for now. Oh, sorry no Skype or Netflix.
