Thunderbolt Review (Coming Soon)

Good old Verizon.

I am sure the train of thought was "why do you need a toggle if 4g is unlimited and the battery life issues are fixed?"

Lets just hope they are...

I also think they want to get a feel for how much data will actually be used by non-testers. Keeping people on 4g will give them a better understanding...just a theory:p

i can't wait for your full review

ps, thank you SO much for mentioning the lack of Netflix & Swype.

i bet Swype will be compatible in no time

no 4g toggle widget? hopefully an OTA will fix it. battery life will definitely be the focus of every review. good luck!

If not, I'm sure xda will have an app like they do for those who don't want to use Sense on the Evo.

I really do like Swype on my current device... I wonder why they did not install it?

No removing any preinstalled apps.
As already said, it is Verizon.

idk why they force you to keep those apps on there

if you don't want to use them you aren't going to use them whether they stay on there or not

and i'm sure they know that with a little bit of determination you can easily delete them..

O/P,
don't think i've seen this listed yet--

but of the 32GB card, how much is actually able to be used?

(just in case you forgot: Menu>Settings>SD&Phone Storage>SD Card Aavailable Space) you probably know, but just on there in the odd event you didn't.

and to add to it, of the 8GB internal storage, how much is available?

thanks in advance!

hey rubytuesday can you download a widget off the market and check the 4g toggle?

i know you said you got it at 50%, but in the time you've had the phone how has the battery life been? plunging or steady life?
