Thunderbolt Thursday Waiting Room HERE!

What time does your store open?

My BB in North Carolina Opens at 10:00. I have another 45 minutes before I even leave my office. I will be there when the doors open!

My Verizon opens at 9. So I have another 40 minutes before I'm going to leave I think. It's only a mile down the road, but one of the lights takes forever to change.

i think these cheaper prices people are seeing on verizons site are due to ne2 prices....but i could be wrong correct me someone

the website for vzw gave me 2 prices for a 2 year. 249.99 for a new contract. My upgrade price was 199.99 with a 2 year + a 50 dollar NE2 for 149.99. I then opted for a 1 year with after credit was 229.99.... or basically i figured 279.99 (30 more than BB for a 1 year contract) minus the 50 dollar credit...and went with that.

This phone is lightening fast, no pun. Luckily im in ATL so I do get LTE and boy this phone just flys

Im surprised I really thought this phone would be heavier its really not that heavy in your hands

Screen is beautiful... I came from Samsung Vibrant so I was use to AMOLED screen and thought this screen resolution would be a downgrade presently surprised... screen is just is beautiful

Doesn't come with headphones but ohwell.

I'm in love!!!

And to make this day even better found out my school gives a discount on my bill of 18% AND waive activation fee so my 1yr contract total was 330. Not bad

while i wait for tomorrow to arrive, i want to pose a question ... why does it seem like a fair amount of verizon employees are content in thinking this phone only comes with a 2 year contract, for on contract purchases? yesterday i went to a vzw store and the rep i spoke to insisted that only a 2 year contract was available to which i refuted but he would not have his mind changed. second employee i talked to this morning on the phone while making a few minor account adjustments and ordering my bolt, same response there is only a 2 year option for this phone available .... my response why am i looking online right now at 3 options (1 yr 2 yr off contract) ... hmmm let me pull it up on my computer right here ... oh you seem to be correct sir there is a 1 year available ... would you like a 1 year? .... YESSSSSSSSs

so my question is why? why do they seem to have it drilled into their minds that you can only do a 2 year contract or off contract? Is it laziness? Verizon simply not informing their employees adequately? or something else ... like maybe a conspiracy by verizon to get as many people (whom dont do their research before buying) locked into a 2 year contract as possible ... hmmmmm very interesting
