Time Problem

My phone has been acting weird. Randomly, my phone will set itself 5 hours ahead of time. For the past four Sundays in a row, my phone believes 530 PM is the new 1030 PM and it only does it when I'm at my boyfriend's house in the next town over.

Normally this wouldn't be a problem except we are day sleepers and getting woken up 5 hours early constantly is getting real old, real quick. I unchecked automatic time and date update and it still does it. Any ideas?

I have a Verizon non rooted Moto X 2nd generation with Lollipop 5.0.

With the device having auto time checked, if you put the device into Airplane mode for a few moments, then reconnecting, does the time correct itself?

If I do that, yes. If I turn uncheck it, it goes back to the regular time but it keeps setting itself 5 hours ahead when I'm over there. I've googled the problem and have done that as well as the check/uncheck the time option but it still keeps resetting itself.

Sorry for the delay. I am guessing a tower communication issue here. Have you talked to your carrier?

No, that's my next route though they'll tell me to reset the phone or bring it in.
