Time stamp on pics, how do I get that off?

I FINALLY got my new G3 and have taken few pctures, however the date & time stamp is on and I so not want it on there.

HOw do I turn this off?

So, I checked on my phone. I don't have a timestamp, nor do I have an option to turn on timestamps. A quick Google search has this thread and everyone else trying to turn it ON, not off. Sorry, I can't recreate your issue. Maybe someone else will wander in and help.

Possibly Geotagging. Not really sure as I have never seen this on my s3

Tried turning off the gps location and it still put time and date stamp.

Hi i am one who is trying to turn on date stamp. I even phoned Samsung but they said you could not do it. So if ever you find out how to turn it off please let me know so I can turn mine on. I need to date my photos for my work and now have had to download an app but you have to do each photo separately and it duplicate the photo so its a pain and very time consuming. Thanks

Try the GPS Tag in Photo Settings. See if that works for you. If so, let us know.

the time stamp is only seen while your are viewing the picture on your phone. try this: email to yourself and view it. the time stamp will be gone

Yes the time stamps are only on the pictures when veiwing.
I have sent them to my email and copied them to my PC and they are not there.

Vignette is an app that will let you time and date your photos without having to take an action on each shot. In my case, that's the specific reason that I bought it.

Okay, I found an app that was free in the Samsung app center called. "A Better Camera" it allows you to time and date stamp your pics. I have the Note 3. I do rental inspections and it is a requirement that the pics submitted for individuals applying for a rental license have date stamps on them. Hope this was helpful.
