Time to upgrade?

Pixel 2xl guy here. Love it. Starting to see some differences in battery life. Used to last all day no problem. 1 year later it can drop as much as 50 % in 2 hours. Not always but depending on usage.

It'll be a nice upgrade in every department. If you can get a deal during Black Friday I'd say go for it.

As much as I'm liking my og pixel, I just can't justify the cost of upgrading to the 3. I'm never going to be okay with paying $1000 for a phone. So I'm just going to do what I always do and wait until prices come down to a level I'm willing to pay. I don't mind owning last year's model if I can get it for half price new.

I'm not going to reinforce these ridiculous pricing strategies by paying them.......and since Apple, Samsung, and other high priced phone manufacturers are seeing sales slow down for the last couple of years now, I'm not the only one lol ;-)

We have the control.......if we don't buy, companies will change whatever they have to to get us to buy again. Because without our dollars, they won't exist.

My Pixel 2XL is still amazing and I don't think I'll need to upgrade for a while but I do miss wireless charging and the new features are very tempting.

I've got a Pixel 2XL and it's pretty great. I probably would just keep it and wait for the new pixel 3 software features to come to me, but my gf is going to Europe in a few months. I want her to be able to buy a local SIM card and stick it in the phone so she needs a Pixel to replace her S8. This gives me a good excuse to buy the Pixel 3, but I can't help but consider buying a 2xl off of Craigslist for 400 bucks instead.... Any pixel 3 owners that are switching from a 2xl with some input?

I just made the decision to hold on to my OG Pixel until the 4.
if my phone dies before release them the decision will be made for me.
I'm always tempted to grab the new one so the only issue I have is temptation...

What about the Pixel 2XL? There are good deals out there. Even better deals if you are OK with used. I'm not sure though if the standard warranty carries over to the second owner.

There may be a deal but I never see anything earth shattering. Sometimes Google will through in an accessory or discount 100 dollars either on Black Friday or the holidays.

If you’re on Verizon I think I saw a 200 off at Best Buy for Black Friday. The ad is online if you want to check into it.
