Time & Weather Home Screen

I like the time & weather display on the EVO, especially the amination with the weather. But I wish the flip clock was half the size, 4x1 instead of 4x2, so I could get another row of apps on the home screeen. Will Gingerbread offer a option for a smaller clock and with the weather? Thrid party appp?
