Add a tv remote and learn the keys from your air conditioner's remote and stop sweating it. B-)

Hmm, I wonder can I try this with my car's remote.

Edit: It does work.

What kind is your car's remote?
Can you take a picture of it and upload it? Cause mine doesn't seem to have an ir blaster, it's just a plastic cube.

It's for a Mercedes. When one of my friends has a break I'll try it with his car.

I don't believe they are, but may have a red light to indicate they're working.

yea, my acura keys have a small red light. I dont really see the convience of using your phone, but it would be a good back up just in case you locked your self out of the car.

I programmed mine to work my car stereo. I used to have a remote on my Key chain but lost it.

My car remote doesn't seem to have an ir blaster, it seems to be an RF remote like he said, so it won't work

Can you help me? I hav3 galaxy s4 and I wanna try this... what is the name of the app? Maybe a link?

The application is the stock TV application that comes with the HTC One. The HTC One has learning capabilities whereas the S4 doesn't.

This was one of the first things I did when I got my one, remembering how I used to do it back in the 90's with my Palm III. It didn't work with my office air conditioner, so I didn't bother with the ones at home. Guess I'll give it a try after reading this thread.

My S4 remote app is not nearly as smart as my HTC's One app. I'm still amazed at is capabilities.
