Tmobile manual Froyo - Does it void warranty?

Only reason I joined this forum To prove that it doesnt

You are modifying the phone's software with an unofficial update. According to the Warranty information provided with all Nexus One, doing that voids your warranty claims.

True.. But google has said that they will provide a final update on this leaked update. So, I think after upgrading to final release there won't be any problem.

Droid800- nobody is arguing against the technicality aspect of it voiding the warranty... but do you understand that once you upgrade to the newer OS that the phones WILL be covered by warranty?

I think that you have to accept that you jumped the gun on this one. I would say just a lesson learned. Not to call you out and say ur dumb, cause I am not saying that.
I am simply saying thats how rumors are started

I just got off the phone with Google Support regarding a "No Service" issue. While he thought it was likely the SIMM card going bad, he was unable to help me directly as I was running Froyo and that made my phone "out of warranty". However, he hinted that once Froyo is released officially and I updated to that release, I would be back "in warranty". So, from that conversation, I took away that while Froyo does not VOID the warranty permanently, it does made the device unsupported in its current state.
