Tmobile RCS samsung messaging

Just wondering how does one know if RCS is working correctly between two s10 devices on t mobile? Both have chat settings available in the setup menu of messages. Pics seem to be higher quality etc but there is no typing indications when typing a message. Isn't it supposed to say "chat" somewhere typing ?

Yes , both devices have that,thanks. But I cant see typing indications. When one party is typing a message for the other.

That's strange , did you try anything like restart of the device or clearing cache and force stop message app?

I tried force stop and cleared cache.

No doesn't say chat , you'll see scribbling from the other person why your waiting for reply
