If you are one of the customer who used jump program to preorder their S7 make sure you check your bill!!!!
I found out that their was a discrepancy with the trade-in amounts.
Ex: I was trading in 2 phones:
-Galaxy S6 Edge: total remaining: $389.87
-Galaxy S5: total remaining: $67.50
However, their system only credited me:
Galaxy s6 edge: $359.88
Galaxy S5: $45
Then they charge you for that remainder on your monthly bill, i'm assuming for those who jumped from preorder date, then it should appear on this bill.
I argued with T-Mobile for over an hour about how they didn't credit me full refund only partial, eventually I went into site and was able to check status of previous order (the s7 preorder) where it states I was supposed to get full refund. Once I showed them this they had no choice but pay out the remainder of the phones.
in this case it's somewhere around $52, so i'm warning all you guys out there to double check. I'm sure i'm not the only one this has happened to. They tried to play it off w/ these excuses:
- phone may have been returned damaged ( i shot them down because they requested it be sent back in flimsy padded envelop)
- there was 1 more payment remaining (which is false)
- they offered me $20 for inconvenience (thankfully declined)
- then they finally agreed to pay remainder.
