Few days ago when I try charging my phone it said incompatible charger please find the orginal charger. So I tryed different chargers and battery's my phone wouldn't charge at all so I did the toothbrush trick and duster trick now it's saying please find to charger faster please use orginal charger that came with the phone,However it saya the phone is charging but it's actually not charging at all and dropping battery life please note thathat I tried different battery's and my gf is using the battery in my phone now and it works in hers im thinking it's the charging ports so I bought one on ebay let's hope it works.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you actually have the original charger, and did you try it? Have you also tried different USB cables?

The original charger supplied 5.2 Volts at 2 Amps. The phone charges at 1.2 Amps, so there's plenty of overhead available. If you're charging it with a charger that supplies less than 1.2 Amps, it'll charge slower. If the phone is using more current than the charger is supplying, the difference comes from the battery, so it's discharging, not charging. (Electricity 101.)

I had same problem, and was using orginal charger, I called Samsung, and they sent me a new charger, and now everything is working fine
