To edify or not to edify, that is the ?

i know that some of the newer ROMs will be using the edify scripts. what is your take on updating clockwork now vs waiting.

I believe that once you update, the "old" roms will not flash through CWM, does this also apply to themes? I am sure that it does, but asking for the sake of conformation.

is there a way to dual boot CWMs? Questions, questions, questions....I am sure I will have more..

nothing is using edify yet. the problem is with the roms. once that gets worked out then every thing else will make the move to edify. no reason for you to make the move yet. the fascinate community will make the move more or less as a whole.

I think he is referrong 2 evil fascination 3.2 cuz it is now edify scripting... Idk if the leap 2 edify is worth it 4 all but my SOD is leavin me no choice but 2 try it out

I cannot really define edify I just know it is a different way of handlimg things.

I was backwardly referimg to evil fascination, but from what I have, there is gonna be a shift more sooner than later and was curious as to the move now vs later thoughts out there.

My question is what will change?? What is different?? cwm is going to be diiferent? Different way of flashing??

Cwm will be different(3.0), flashing will be the same as far as I know.

there are two languages that installation code are written in , one is amend and the other is edify

previous versions of clockwork supported both languages, but starting at 3.x.x of clockwork it only supports edify coding.

is there an advantage , im not sure,,, but if we want to continue using newer versions of clockwork and rom manager than the switch needs to be made. otherwise we will be stuck with the frankenclockwork which devs like gizmodroid are still working on

On evil fascination 3.3 Nitro switched back to amend script

Still out working so I have no idea, would be nice though from my pov, I am still.on an early version.
