To return or not to return....

I was playing with my phone last night and I noticed I have some pretty heavy light leakage on the bottom left side of the screen. Almost goes halfway up. Is this a physical concern - I heard peoples screens were falling off the damn phone - or purely cosmetic? I don't care if its cosmetic at all.

HTC and Sprint say it's just cosmetic.. Screw that... I got lucky I guess and so far I don't have any physical issues with my EVO but if I am buying what is basically a $500 - 600 device brand new out the box I want it to look good. I can accept physical damage I put on the device (Dropping it or letting my 7 year old pay with it) but not brand new.. Exchange for a new one (if I were you)

HTC and Sprint's official announcement is it's just cosmetic and has no affect on the phones operation or performance...

If you can live with it so be it.... To each his own right?
