To be fair, it is still VERY early in the day on the 17th. If everything is supposed to ship by today, they still have the whole day to get that completed.

Agreed. Reason im giving them the benefit of the doubt and waiting until tomorrow at 5AM to see any changes. I'm also off that day so i can stay on the line and ask questions concerning my preorder. Since i recall they mention all preorders will be complete by wednesday and by friday, everyone (at least in the US) should have theirs.

I'm going to sleep. Haha. Too tired from work to deal with Google.

Ordered a 16 GB on 6-28, it's been sitting in my "local" (hour away) UPS hub since last night and is NOT out for delivery (as of this posting).
Our UPS driver usually comes between 1-3 pm.
If I don't have it today, I will call Google and politely ask for a refund of the shipping charges. No reason why a package arrives at the hub the night before and it's not delivered the next day, especially when it's 2-day air.

If it is at the UPS hub and not to you yet, how is that Google's problem? You should be calling UPS and asking them why it hasan't moved yet. Then again, it's still fairly early in the morning and the system may not have updated the their latest scans yet.

Seriously though, Google has nothing to do with your device sitting in a UPS hub.

I ordered it on the 29th..and it is to be delivered today. Shipping Conf cam on July 14th.

What is this like thread 1005 all same subject. If I was mod is merge all these dang threads. FYI I think Google is doing a good job. They can't get u info if they don't have any. Once Google has the info they will forward it to you. Just like any company would.

Simply stating that things are backed up, or that they are having trouble, is all we ask. They have had no communication at a time it is very clear their consumers are pissed. It is extremely unprofessional for them not to have made a statement by now.

I think Google has done a mediocre job at best. Since they control the information they should be able to send me something, even if it is to tell me my order has been delayed. Lack of communication by Google is creating all these negative vibes...

I think google did a pretty good job, personally. I ordered my nexus 7 friday night. I recieved an email saying my tablet had shipped around 8 pm last night and it was delivered this morning.

Good for you. I ordered on the 28th. Haven't heard a peep. It's people like me who are upset.

I'm glad I picked one up on the weekend. Google is unreliable. I'll just be refusing shipment.

You are incorrect. According to Google's own statement (in link I provided) they are claiming that all pre-orders will ship by today.
I got sick of waiting and walked into a Staples first thing this morning and bought one, didn't pre-order through Staples or anything.
I'll be calling Google and cancelling the order, if they won't let me cancel I'm sure I'll be able to sell the extra one, unless my wife decides she wants one

Once you have a tracking number, there is an option to return to sender.

I gave up and walked into Staples this morning. They had plenty; sold me one; no line; no wait other then the 10 minutes for the guy to grab it from the back.

Now to put a block on my credit card and tell Google where they can shove/ship my tablet.

I ordered mine on 7/6 and nada, no email, no cc funds hold... NOTHING!

Yesterday I decided to call Google to see what's up, after waiting for an hour and 25 minutes (seriously) they tell me I can't cancel nor change the shipping address... What she did tell me was that my order should be here by the en of the week... (Friday cause they don't deliver on Saturday) I don't know if to believe them or not. I have no option, I'll wait and see. I know Google has a lot to learn when it come to launching a device like this, hopefully they'll learn from this and the next devices they launch be handled the proper way.

You can remove your credit card from Google Wallet. They can not charge what they don't have on file.

Beyond that; I had to cancel my credit card just to be 100% sure they wouldn't still issue the charge... I just don't trust Google to actually remove my credit card details.

I would call UPS and get info from their people, I don't see how it's Google's issue when the courier is not updating their info. As for the CC charge and Shipping email not being sent, call Google customer support and get info from them. If they are at fault, I'm fairly certain they will try to rectify it. I know how frustrating this is, I've been through it a few times myself.

You think it's good service that someone who ordered on July 8th have received their N7's and someone like me who ordered on the first day still haven't had it shipped? Are you serious?

Thats precisely the problem I ordered 6/27 and I haven't received anything yet. You receiving yours is EXACTLY THE PROBLEM.
