Cant be true. because verizon always has new releases on a thursday and I mean always. Dont know why they like thursday soo much but they do.

i was just checking on Sprint.com site to see if there was any update in the forums about the release date and preorders, and noticed something that may be a bad sign... the GS3 was a feature item on the website, the last thumbnail of the 5 that come up on the home page, well, it's now gone... the PreOrder pop up is nowhere to be found...

Nope, I did the store thing too, best buy in my case. I would love to see you play with your gs3 for the first time, seeing that you're coming from a palm pre, the gs3 should do some serious mind blowing!

Yeah man, I sure hope so. I dont think it will leave my hands the first 72 hours or so. Lol. So much to do when I get it. Everyone in my immediate and extended family has iPhones basically. They always talk about me not getting an iPhone. I cant wait to blow them out the water with my Galaxy S3

Just got off the phone with AT&T Premier Support and was told that the shipping dates have been pushed back and that I should receive the phone "on or before June 28th"...

That is because of the same reason Canada's orders got pushed back...

....Sprint needs all the phones for their pre orders to be filled before the 21st, so everybody else is getting pushed back!!!!!

Went into Verizon today asked if they knew anything and they told me: "We haven't been trained for that yet, we're going to be trained this week."
Went into Best Buy as they typically are a little more informed than the Verizon sales reps, and the lady confidently said "The release date for the Verizon GSIII is June 22nd." I asked several times if she was serious and she said she was sure of it. Doubt this is true, but who knows? We've got nothing to lose by believing her, as our phones are coming eventually.

I've never gotten the same answer twice from Best Buy and rarely gotten a correct one. I suspect that the truth is that Verizon will be taking in-store orders on June 22. I don't see them having stock in the store at that time because it would just tick off those who will be getting their pre-orders shipped in July.

Haha, thanks. I've had my upgrade for a year and a half now. I just kept getting sucked into the next flagship device vortex. Finally chose to ignore future devices and get the best one available. Lol hope I made the right decision. Pretty sure I did.

I am with At&t and pre-ordered my s3 on the 6th and my order status JUST changed to shipped and provided a fed ex tracking number and is getting delivered tomorrow on the 21st.
