Yeah prolly should, I read once that there is a sticker that changes color once it is wet alerting them of water damage.
And not to sound like a goody good, but honesty the best policy. heck ya might even find a nice rep who values that quality an hook ya up somehow?

If you have uncooked rice, fill a bowl and cover the phone with the rice, that will help absorb moisture from within the phone. If you pulled the battery and left the display off chances are you will be okay.

There are moisture sensors in the phone and battery, they will know it was wet.

Best of luck upstream. I try no to.have my Tbolt in my hand when I'm around the crapper. Try the rice method. It works. Hopefully it gets all of that stuff out

A little late for the rice now that you put power to it again... the first thing should have been to remove the battery, get uncooked rice in a zip loc bag with your phone, and leave it there for two or three days, shaking it a little to get the rice moved around... then maybe your device might work.

And don't try to hand your phone back to Verizon and tell them it's not working... they will know. There are stickers inside the device that change color when exposed to water.

ok so i put in front of the ac and it turned on. but i guess it has humid rice trick will do thanks so much guys!!!.

This is why we have insurance. Call them up, tell them your phone is destroyed, and they'll get you a new one.

thats what im saying if they dont make me pay cuz its wet then ill call them. does anyone know for sure that u dont have to pay ?

By turning the phone on your risking (if you haven't done so already) of burning out the phone. If there's no power running through the phone while wet the less likely it would short out. Leave it off! And do as others suggested with the rice

You'll have to pay the deductible, of course, but my insurance (VZW) covers water damage. What insurance do you have?

Uh... rather than the toilet, why don't you tell them it was submersed into Lake Michigan when you jumped in to save a drowning child. Luckily, after intense CPR, the child is going to be okay, and the local news chanel will be at your house in 30 minutes to do the story.

Wow... you are assuming the rice will work after you put power to it... I'll say again: A little late for the rice now that you put power to it again
