Ok, I am wondering what kind of rice, the instant or the regular rice?

I doubt it matters. I don't think there is much difference.
Just look for whatever is cheapest and leave the phone in there for at least a day.

A friend of mine had her env touch in the washing machine, went thru the whole cycle...when she found it, she took the battery out and left it in rice for a few days and it actually worked....but only for a few months before the water finally corroded the inside and the screen went crazy...
