Too many apps?

Is it possible for too many apps to cause market problems on your phone? I've restarted, flashed multiple ROMs, et cetera, but certain apps won't download. They say "starting download" then immediately say download unsuccessful and disappear from the notification bar. When the app is opened in market, it says it isn't installed, but gives me the checkbox for automatic updating. The reason for my question is that I have tried every other fix on the internet and flashed across multiple ROMs, yet I still have this problem, but only after restoring my 180+ apps. Until then, I can download just fine. Tips?

LOL, 180+ apps? If there is 164mb of space on da phone how many apps do you think you can fit on it? Even with apps2sd that may be too many. :)

Your cache partition if full, specifically dalvik-cache, there is not much you can do about it except for uninstalling apps that are cache hogs. In my opinion Google did not do a good job with their apps to SD implementation. I am out of cache space with only 107 user apps installed and 30mb free in data.

Not sure what is the problem, but 180+ apps has to be bad for your health...lol

My screws aren't loose, they're just missing. ;) I get that many apps using titanium backup batch move to sd card. I've got a 16 gb card and I've got like 80mb left on internal.

Meanwhile, it seems as if deleting apps does help. I deleted a couple amazon apps that I got just because they were free, and deleted some bloatware. Market is installing just fine. I'll work on keeping my list down to 160-170. But hey, at least I'm never bored.:D
