Too many damned advertisements!

Sorry, you're wrong. When a website puts up an ad that you have to click to get rid of on EVERY PAGE, people will leave.

Sure, a few people will leave because of ads but that's how sites like this pay for expenses to keep operating. It's either put ads on the site, or charge people a fee to use the site. Which one do you think will make more people leave?

since I commented in this thread yesterday I just wanted to follow up....I think some people missed the point here, there were some adds that (repeatedly) auto opened or started playing a video upon every page refresh and they hovered over what you were trying to read. there is nothing wrong with the advertising itself, just that something flaky was happening and it was annoying. with that said the site has been fine today with no auto opening ads. thank you.
