I figured it out before you had tried it. Even though zerg works and mounts as read and write. The nand lock is disabling read and write.

That isn't the first time I seen that now which is odd. As gsm seems to have the same issue. If you have experience with adb. Do the following:

adb shell

df

You should get a output of the partitions. Where if you can copy that here, I will look. How ever this is pretty odd and stupid. If you are indeed out of memory there will be no other builds for the wildfire s made more than likely. I could do up a script to remove one or two bloat apps to gain some space to run the tool.

I sure could use that script to remove a couple bloated apps i have tried several root methods and have gotten the same no memory error

i am also recieving a no memory error when installing the apps, i will uninstall apps and try again but doesnt seem like it will work
System rom: 275mb (17.6 MB free) Titanium Backup

how can i free up space???????

I'm also getting the memory error. I factory reset my phone as to have as much free space as possible... still the same error, a bunch of lines of "cannot copy/find etc" and "out of memory" stuff.

I've tried everything and I just cannot get this phone rooted. :/

At the moment you need to be s-off for this tool to work.

You need to unlock via htc unlock to get root on the gsm variant. Or in better terms you need s-off or unlocked for root.

Just do the "Before you begin section" , Do step 1 and backup the phone then skip to 3A

On step 3A I just did "All other supported models" and got the unlock_code.bin and flash to your phone from the htcdev.com instructions, then poof unlocked bootloader. No need to do RUU since it's a pain to get setup.
