No porn apps here either.... :'(

My Top 5

Circle Launcher - As I mentioned in another thread, I'm a big fan of this app. I've loaded it onto my main home page and made it invisible. This has allowed me to still have access to the apps I use the most (gmail, yahoo mail, brightness widget, internet, texts, G-Talk, navigation) without cluttering up the screen with a bunch of app icons. Keeps the screen clean.

NFL Mobile - I already pay for the NFL Redzone channel, but it's a big bonus to get it on my phone, so I can be out and about but still able to check in on the football action.

Nook - I'm a big reader and own a Nook (original), but I'm glad I don't have to cart it around with me to have access to my library. And the Bolt's screen is big enough so that reading books on it isn't annoying like it was on my BB.

Netflix - There are times during the week when I have an hour or two to kill between jobs, and Netflix fills that time when I really don't feel like reading or playing games. I wish they had a better selection of new movies and shows, but it's still nice to have all of that content accessible from my phone.

Pulse - My one-stop shop for all forms of news. Ultra customizable, it has replaced all other news apps and RSS readers on my phone. Great app.

Honorable Mention: Amazon Market App

Free App of the Day. 'Nuff said.

Other Apps of Note

Rainy Days - Simple weather app that shows me all I really care about: Doplar Radar.
Note Everything - Does exactly what the name implies.
Navdress Book - I keep all of my customers' addresses in here, separate from my contacts, and it has the added bonus of linking with Google Navigation to get me there with a simple touch of a button. It's definitely a niche app, but it works great for what I need.
Retro Camera Plus - I have taken some amazing pics with this app, and will have it on any future phone I own. (not that I plan on getting rid of my Bolt anytime soon.)

And of course, I use Vlingo, Pandora, ESPN Scorecenter, My Backup Pro, Lookout, and the standard Calendar Widget on a regular basis, along with a host of games.

mightyfacundo thanks for the heads up on circle launcher, just looked it up and bought the real version. LOVE IT. It cleans up the screen so much. Just wish there was a 1x1 widget.

Handcent SMS
Bible (youversion)
Dolphin HD
Facebook (I hop between browser version and Friendcaster)
Yahoo Mail

I'm not counting things that just run with no interaction by me but if I did, Tasker takes the cake

Top 5 apps:

Maildroid Pro (awesome email app w/ great customer care)
Quick pic
Beautiful Widgets
CarHome Ultra (best app for those who drive a lot)
Mobile Hotspot (got my phone on Day 1 (March 17th) and this is still free for me for some reason)

*Google maps with traffic and Google Navigation are the heart of why I love Android phone so much better than iOS. They have saved me time and money on a daily basis in LA.

**If u r pregnant or ur wife is pregnant, the Pregly app was spot on for us and what expect each week of pregnancy with cool pics of what ur baby looks like every week.

What is Timeriffic? sounds interesting

Change most sound settings based on a time and day of the week... this way it goes silent when I want to sleep and starts up again shortly after I get up in the morning... and different times for the weekend. This way I know my alarm volume is set just before I go to sleep without having to check or change anything manually.

Just a heads up, there is a 1x1 widget for circlelauncher. It's the circlelauncher widget listing with no 1x2 or anything behind it (should be first in the list).

Thanks for the heads up, I had to go back and delete the 2x1 and do the 1x1, MUCH better. Thanks.

my top 5:

1. Go Launcher (and all of the GO apps that go with it like GoSMS, just started using it last week and love it!)
2. Titanium Backup
3. Amazon Appstore (free apps every day!)
4. Out of Milk (great shopping list app)
5. ScoreMobile (espn score center was WAY too buggy for me)

other favs:
- swype - I wouldn't be able to type without this
- root explorer
- u-verse mobile - I can set my DVR while on the go!
- MyBackupRoot - backup SMS and MMS and call logs (but MMS doesn't seem to be restoring properly anymore...)
- groupon - don't have to print out my groupons anymore!

Yay for the Circle Launcher plug. Based on you guys report I downloaded it. I love it. Highly recommend. I like the Circle Launcher Light configuration (1x1). But there are lots to choose from.

Thanks.

Cool. With as much as I promote that app, you would think I had a stake in it!

Also, I have received a couple of PM's asking how I turned Circle Launcher invisible, and thought it might help someone else if I posted it in here. I'm sure most of you have figured it out, but here's the easiest way:

1. Open up Circle Launcher
2. Hit the menu button to go into the CircleLauncher configurations screen.
3. Hit the Extra Configurations link at the bottom.
4. Scroll down to Widget Icon Configuration.
5. Change the Widget Icon Size to 0.

Now the Widget will be invisible on the home screen. You'll know it's there, and you'll still have access to all of your apps, but you won't have to look at the widget.
