Top vs Bottom Mic

Noticed that the pick up on the top mic is about half of the bottom mic when speaking at about the same loudness near each mic. Is it the same for your device?

top mic is designed for noise cancelation purposes. it detects the ambient background noise and phases it out so that it is easier to hear. I dont know if it does this when on speaker mode, but that is its design when being used normally.

Oh and that is the reasons the pickup on the top mic is less? Just want to know if the mics on my Note 5 is okay.
