topreports.news / taboola pop up

I've got an LG Stylo 3 and recently I installed a couple of countdown apps. Not sure if it's related, but since then I've been getting this pop up that shows topreports.news, and it shows in my Chrome history as taboola, however I can't find what is doing it. It usually comes up when my screen is locked. If I tap the recent apps button, it doesn't show the app. The 3-dot menu at the top right gives the option "open in Chrome" kind of like when a website opens through Gmail. Any way to find out what the app is and get rid of it? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! It's almost certainly adware related to one of those apps. Try uninstalling them, and also clear the browser's app cache/data in Settings>Apps​.
