Torn between S6 and the S6 Edge. Would appreciate user experiences!

Love the edge. It doesn't do that much more than the S6, but IMHO I really like the looks. I don't have any issues with the curved display. If the difference in price isn't a big deal for you I would advise getting the edge.

I was torn, too, when I was just reading about them. Now that I've held both in my hand, I think I'll go with the standard S6 instead of the S6 Edge. The Edge was a bit more interesting looking, but if there's little extra functionality, it didn't seem worth the hassle. It's not the extra cost, but rather the limitations in protecting the screen with tempered glass, and the limited case options. I'm a klutz, so that seems reason enough to get the standard S6 with a beefier case.

You are absolutely correct. There are no features in the edge that make it worth the more. The only reason why anyone should get the S6 edge is that it looks stunning compared to the front of the S6 which looks all too similar to previous Galaxy's. It is like spending more money for a trim package on a car. It is not going to make your car run any better but it will look nicer.

It has already been said but go with the edge imo. When I first got it I was also turned off by the sides when texting and and surfing the Internet but that changed in about 2 hours. I can't see myself with the regular s6

The GS6E is a great device if the additional features and curved edges are worth the additional cost for comparable GS6 storage models. The larger battery might also be attractive.

Had the regular and traded in for the edge. Feature wise, there isn't an advantage, but damn does the curved screen look and feel much more premium.

I am very particular and agonized over this choice. I am so happy I got the S6 Edge. My worries about the curved screen messing up video were unfounded. It feels great in my hand, which was another worry. I do miss having the battery change option, but not as much as I thought I would; I love fast charging! I also got the gold color, which some commented was garish. I like it. I love that the phone is different. It is cool. I would get the S6 Edge again.

Decided the extra $ for the Edge wasn't worth it... now that I've had the S6 for awhile, I sort of wish I had gone for the S6E.
