Torrents won't start in bittorrent no peers

I recently rooted my galaxy 2 sgh-t989d. Then i installed some root apps including tor and every app on my phone goes through tor now. My bittorrent still worked. In between I think I flashed a clockwork recovery mod through rom manager. Now my torrents won't start and get no peers. I've tried utorrent and bittorrent.

Did you remember to make a Nandroid backup before flashing? You may be able to trace the unwanted change if you created one beforehand.

I deleted it after rooting, which I regret doing, now, because I was unsure of its purpose.

I've flashed to the cyanogen 10.0.0 mod but bit torrent still isn't working.

I had to un-torrify bit torrent and restart.
