Total ascent/ descent not showing on Samsung Health

[Android Central Question]

I'm using the Samsung active watch for my runs/walks/cycles and even though it shows my elevation on the graph and provides a min and max elevation, it doesn't show my total ascent and total descent. I would like to see my overall ascent and descent and it is really bugging me.

Has anyone got a solution?
