Touch Screen/Keyboard issue

I'm seeming to have a WEIRD instance with my phone. Every once in a while the touchscreen seems to turn unresponsive, and whatever I was doing freezes. Tapping HOME or BACK doesn't do anything. I can fix it by locking the screen and then unlocking it, but this is rather annoying.

Also, Sometimes the keyboard doesn't wanna register my presses. In portrait layout, sometimes I can't press Q nor P, instead it always wants to hit W or O. :s Then later on I tried to type a - (hypen) but when I tapped DIRECTLY ON IT it wouldn't even pick it, only ) or + and it's off-center on the keyboard!

Anyone else having either of these problems?

Nope never had anything close to that happen. Make sure you don't have 50 apps running at the same time. :P

I tried the calibration tool, but it seems to be a multitouch issue. Somehow it's registering ghost touches and will flip out. Tonight while trying to view a text message the thread started moving all over the place like it was tweaked out on crack or something.

I'm definately going to take it into BB tomorrow and talk to them about it. (Bought black tie protection on it.)

Are you from CB by chance? cause if you are, than that response just makes me laugh because that is the universal thing to say over there, and the fact that 50 would really be a serious number over here. ha. Im enjoying not having to rely on my bb too much.

I have had a problem like that before but it was usually only when I was in an app. It would happen to me when I would leave an app and then go back into it and basically the touch would be off or it would be frozen.

So my guess would be possibly that you might have an app that could be infecting your INC in a bad way. You could try a master reset of your phone without installing any apps to see if you still have the problem. And if you do then its probably an issue with the phone and I would return it to get a new one.
