Touch Screen Problem

So i've noticed that the bottom of my screen is not very sensitive anymore. When i pull down the status bar it is almost impossible for me to drag it back up. I can still pull up the app drawer fine but i was wondering if i should be worried about this. Also i don't know about this but do any of you suggest i return the phone. I got the phone on the first of may from Radioshack so i'm not sure i can even return it.

Would i have to ship them the phone back? I've never returned anything to a manufacturer so i am blank in how i would go about doing that.
