Dear Samsung,

Even though I like Touch Wiz, it is freaking boring. LG is kickin your **** in the customization department. And before I get any replies on this, I have tried the best of launchers. This is for stock launchers only. Sammy, I suggest you step your game up with this bland UI. This is what people want. Stay ahead of your competition.

I believe they just aren't that focused on it since you can add another. Either way they may decide to change it one day... I won't be holding my breath though.

I happen to like it. Sure some of it is cartoonish but it's much more intuitive than stock. I haven't tried LG's phones though so I can't give a comparison....but as opposed to stock, Sense, and Moto X's launcher, TW kills them in features. Although I love the Moto X's always listening feature, the rest is stock. I guess what I'm saying is....I like TW.

Same here (about liking Touchwiz). An example of a feature is the show battery percentage in the notification bar. :) There are many threads, in other areas of the forum, with people looking for it. Have yet to see one where a third party app, besides a launcher, can duplicate the feature the same way as in Touchwiz.

I have to agree with the Op

I'm not here to point out Sammy's flaws just to agree about Lg's progress. I've been wanting the G2 since my daughter got the G-Pad. So many things to play with

Dear Aquaman,

I believe you may be lost. Better try http://m.samsung.com/us/support/contact if you're looking for Samsung...

I agree with you. From what I've seen, LG is making headway in such a fashion that it makes me want to try it too.

To be honest, Google has implemented that in stock 4.4. The Moto X has it as well ( since 4.3) and the hTc One too, so it's not just a Sammy thing and it's implemented the same way and fashion.

Guess you haven't tried Nova. Your battery example - it's exactly the same in Nova. See below - this is Nova. I see battery percentage right beside the battery...

After using Nova for a month or so, I can't see any advantage with TouchWiz over Nova, and I like Nova a lot more than I like TouchWiz

Lots of apps that will do that as well. I use battery reborn widget

I think the Op was just comparing stock ui

Looks like the 4.4 implementation isn't the same. The battery percentage is inside the battery indicator itself and not visible until the gauge gets low enough. Also to enable it requires using an ADB command or an app created by an XDA member. :(

Android 4.4 Includes Support For Battery Percentage In The Status Bar – It's Not Ideal, But Here's How To Enable It (No Root Needed)

Nope, haven't used Nova. But I was aware it had that feature and why I included "besides a launcher" in my previous post. :)

Not sure I understand why you're trying to compare a launcher with an app that isn't a launcher.

I'm just saying that I like Touch Wiz but after playing with my wife's G2, I'm a little jealous of the customization that it has.

Ah. Wasn't aware of that. But the Moto X and hTc One has it just like TW (left side of the battery indicator) and enabled in the battery settings.
