Is there any wa to calibrate the touc, hscreen on the epic? I cantb find an option anywhere and searching online hasn't turned up much. I have to tap pretty far above and to the left of what I want to click otherwise it'll miss completely or wind up clicking something below what I clicked on. It pretty far off too not just a couple pixels

Wow - never heard of that problem on an epic before - maybe that is why your search isn't turning up any results?

Maybe a bad digitizer/screen?

I've found a couple oth3er people asking about it in various places, but no answers. Odd thing is it isn't consistent. One press will be dead on and the next will be way off. I found a couple people saying that they've had it fix itself on a reboot. It isn't bad enough to really bother me, but it throws me off enough for me to see if there was a solution since it can be pretty far off sometimes.

Don't know of any touch calibration but here are a few to check how accurate the touch sensor is. They can at least give you an idea if something is going on with the sensor. On your phone keypad, key in:

*#0*#
This will give you a few test of the LCD. Touch sensor being one of them.

*#2664#
Another accuracy test.

Those show its basically dead on. Now that I've been actually trying to diagnose it I've noticed it only manifests itself in the browser and a reboot does indeed fix it. It does it mostly just after scrolling or zooming. Almost like there's a lag between what my screen shows and were the phone thinks links are at if that makes sense. That first test was actually amusing me and turned into a mini game for a couple min lol.

Stock browser? I read on XDA it uses a ton of resources. Mine keeps force closing after EB13. Try another browser like Dolphin?

Yeah the stock one. I actually like it better than the others I've tried. I like opera better but not having flash kills it for me. I haven't tried dolphin yet, maybe ill give it a go if the problem keeps cropping up, right now its fine again.
