I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with touch screen issues, recently the screen is no longer registering any touch sensitivity in the upper quarter of the screen. Example, if you are looking at the market, the entire area that has Apps, Games, Verizon will not register a touch on those buttons, its the same way across all apps. My phone was rooted and it currently is unrooted. Thanks.

Nope, the phone has not been dropped or gotten wet. It seemed to happen when I went from being rooted to unrooting my phone. I am wondering if it is a software thing or hardware. Not sure if I should call verizon and see if I can get it replaced.

Try factory reset. If that doesn't help try to sbf your phone and if that doesn't help its hardware.

if the factory reset doesn't work get to Verizon and get a replacement. Do NOT mess with the SBF unless you know what you're doing.

Uh... SBF could save him a trip to verizon and if you follow directions here:

Unroot/Unbrick your phone using .sbf

Which I just so happened to write you will be fine.

With this info before the directions?

"IF THIS IS DONE WRONG IT CAN AND WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE BEYOND REPAIR OF EVEN VERIZON SINCE THIS IS THE TOOL THEY USE! DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE DURING THE PROCESS! I WILL NOT OFFER SUPPORT AND NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE! IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING PLEASE LEAVE RIGHT NOW."

Yeah. Sounds like a good idea.

Play it safe, just do a hardware return. The average joe coming here has no right or reason to screw with SBF.

Yep then read the step by step guide that guides you through the whole process :). If you follow the directions it will work :).
