Touchscreen issues with TB on stock GB rooted revolutionary.

I've been having some touch screen issues lately. I'll try to describe them the best I can. The easy one is that the touch screen will become unresponsive, not accepting the commands that I touch on the screen. After that, the screen with zoom in and out on its own and scroll side to side and up and down on its own, making it look like the screen is shaking. I have to press the screen off button and back on, sometimes multiple times, to regain responsiveness and stop the shaking. Has anyone ran into this issue? Thanks.

I often had that problem before rooting. It's one of the reasons I rooted. Only difference was once frozen I had to pull battery to get screen back. I didn't get the shaking and zooming - just the unresponsive screen. Imo kernel straightened out the problem for me.

You might want to try a different rom too.

I have never rooted my phones but my Droid incredible screen was doing what your TB screen is. The phone was defective cause of it
I hope it doesn't happen to my TB

Need to have Verizon see it for you to get a replacement Phone

I was afraid of this. Not sure if it is bothering me enough to go through the unroot process. I'm also afraid that I will have a hard time replicating the issue to a VZW rep.

I agree. All this shaking going on is somewhat abnormal!

When I had my Incredible, it was no issue for it to repeat itself when I was in the store. It was crazy !

so your phone is rooted? have you tried flashing a different rom? Make sure you wipe, wipe and wipe before you flash a new rom.
