touchscreen malfunction in galaxy note 8.0

I have been experiencing some problems with galaxy note 8. Sometimes touchscreen stops working and I am only able to work with the S pen.

The problem seems to have started after the latest android update. Any ideas on what to do?

You could try a factory reset and see if that helps.

Could it be the case that is warming up the device? I've removed it from the case and the problem seems to be solved so far

I have been having the same problem with my note 8 since the update. Please let me know if the reset works.

I was experiencing this problem and here is how it fixed itself.

I did a factory reset, checked the box that allows for Samsung updates and did the two OTA. Not a single problem since. Purposely tried to replicate it.
