TPU Case Bumper Mod

So last night i have my Nexus on my Lap in my car and i got out. As i got out my Nexus Cartwheels onto the pavement and finally rest on the glass

Went to VZW, got a TPU case and cut out the back along the battery outline casue i didnt want a full case.
I have a Housing on order so for now:

I did this using a pocket knife. My primary motive was to have a bumper with the 3800 battery attached. It worked but feels very loose without the back making it taut. I used a Diztronic.

Wow, I did the exact same thing in dropping my phone. It was the first time I have ever dropped a phone on something that would damage it. I got a scrap just like yours but on the top left corner.

I also did that and it did feel very loose. I threw the case away
