I have a iPhone now which I don't mind and I have has all the iPhones on Verizon and the high end android phones. I am thinking about trading with a guy for the DNA and was wondering what are your guys thoughts. Last android I had was the s3. Before that was the 4s and nexus.

What should I know? Is the bootloader unlock able ?

My Iphone5 64 is sitting on a shelf right now. I love my DNA. Its not perfect but I do a lot of networking on my handset and the screen on the Iphone is just to small for me. I start getting dizzy after 30 mins. not so for the DNA.

I would do it, the 1080p screen on the DNA is really nice.

Anyone here convert from iOS to the DNA and had any nagging issues. How is battery life, performance?

I'm switching in a few days once my DNA comes in. I'm planning for worse battery life and less storage (have a 32gb now) so I'll be juggling some apps and pics/videos. I've just become very bored with iOS and am happy to switch.

I would like to hear what some others have to say.

I switched over last Saturday from the iPhone5 to the DNA. Normally by this time, I'm getting the itch for my iPhone. With the DNA I have not missed my iPhone at all.

The bootloader is locked up tight. For now...

Not true. I'm unlocked and s-off. Check xda. For those who updated to the last ota s-off will be a little while.

How's the battery life vs iPhone 5? How about wifi 5 ghz strength?

I think your going to be happy with the battery life. My wife has an Iphone 5 and my DNA will usually last as long if not longer than hers. Obviously, usage is subjective but the DNA is no slouch. I cant speak much to the Wifi strength but what I can tell you is I don't ever drop signal at home on wifi.

You will be happy with the switch. The DNA is fast, fluid and responsive.

Its about the same as I see it. However I have 3 charging pads for my DNA instead of just laying it on my desk its always laying on the charger so un like my IPhone my DNA always seems fully charged because of this great feature.

Left iPhone 4 for DNA, NEVER looked back. Wife has the iPhone 5, as nice as it is, doesn't hold a candle to the DNA :)

It sees my 5ghz network, but I don't use it. I keep my pc and Xbox on it, while I use the 2.4ghz (dual band router is awesome!) for our phones and tablets.

I recently made the exact same switch, do not regret it at all. I am on the updated os so I am patiently waiting for s-off and root capabilities but it's still a beast of a phone without those perks. You won't regret it at all. Very nice screen, battery life is on par with the iPhone, great device. The only thing I dislike about it is HTC's keyboards, I've never been a big fan of them but that is what SwiftKey is for!!!

I know your thinking about the DNA but I recently came from a 4s to a note 2 and it is such an incredible device. There is so much you can do on the note 2. They are both great devices but in my opinion the note 2 is the king of all smartphones. The battery life is amazing.

The Note II is a phablet. As nice as it is, IMHO, it's just too big for one handed use.
