Trade in value of Note 3 with Tmobile!

I just \asked at a Tmobile store what is the max then can give on a Note 3 trade in to a Note 4..

They said $246!!

My Note 3 is 11 months old, and like it is brand new, also has the unlocked code. Double cased and tempered glass screen.

I will go Ebay or Craigslist for at least $350+

You obvioulsy have never traded in anything at retail, have you? They NEVER give you the fair price for one. It just takes away the 'hassle' of finding a buyer and actually selling your device. For some, that's more than enough warrant to lose even a couple hundred bucks. Otherwise these programs wouldn't be 'alive' hehe.

I have heard about the hassles too. With all this, I might find better satisfaction in just giving it away to son, wife and/or close friend..

For maximum value of a device you will need to sell to an end user your self.
Otherwise your selling it to another party who needs to sell it to an end user. For the retailer to sell it and make money they need to buy it a lot cheaper.
They have employees, and over head plus mark up so they can make a profit.
As the others have pointed out, your paying for convenience.
