Okay, I'm curious.

Project Fi offers "Trade in your old phone for up to $550 credit" but I cannot find a single device that offers anywhere near that amount. For example, a Pixel 2 XL with 128 GB comes in at $335. An iPhone 8Plus with 256 GB comes in at $425.

Where is this mystery device that will get you a $550 credit?

Most likely with higher end phones like the latest Samsung / iPhone.

Maybe if you trade in a Pixel 3....lol

All kidding aside it probably is for higher end phones as been suggested.

I checked that.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ with 64GB - $370
Samsung Note 8 with 64 GB - $290

Ah, only the iPhone X with 256 GB will get you $550...

Not quite half if I recall correctly when I bought my daughter one. Resale value on phones that are less than a year seems to be slacking.
