Traded galaxy s8+ for the g6

You right forgot about finger print sensor, it is soo fast and accurate, i love using it.

EMUI 5.1 isn't that bad but I agree it needs more work, Kirin 960 is the best or stand toe to toe with SD835 and Exynos 8895, i wonder what LG G7 would look with a kirin 970 chip :))

I love to try new phones every once in a while, I'm looking for V30 and Mate 10, if the V30 will have 4000mah with SD835 efficiency, stereo speakers and great DAC with large screen, i might be temped but i know it won't happen...

I had a LG G4 when it got out, the phone is the worst phone i ever had, except the camera, it was the best at that time, and i had the Note 5 after that, still G4 camera was better, in fact much better once you know how to operate it via the manual controls.

when I had the G4, I loved it.. Never had a problem until it bootlooped, but that's the beauty of having competition in the market, there are choices.. good ones at that.

Yep there is no need to fight over what device you buy, i do wish that the G4 could play tekken 6 at 60fps back then and had a great battery life, but it was poor device with awesome camera.

As of now, i've heard about the "Emperor Edition" of the Note 8, another money grab, can't wait to see what V30 brings to the table, and of course the Mate 10.

Wow when I had my G4 it was good for the first 2 months of ownership then went down hill. Bogged down, stuttered and/or froze up completely. Almost swore off LG for good. Glad I gave the G6 a try

S8 never impressed me, neither the Plus version, the S7 edge was great phone until the Nougat update, but even then it wasn't that great...

I would take G6 over S8 any day, it might not look "wow" but it probably works "wow" as oppose to S8, which will slow down very soon for some users, however as i have the Mate 9, i wouldn't buy any phone now unless it's maybe the Mate 10.

It's kinda offtopic, but as i had those three phone, i would say that the Mate 9 is the best phone atm, and it's sooo underrated, but buying G6 with all it's features is a great choice.

I absolutely loved my mate 9, unfortunately it was either switch to Sprint or pay 200+ a month to stay with att. I chose the cheaper option, had I stayed with att I would still have the mate 9 to this day. An all around solid and very well implemented software on a killer processor and a nice amount of ram.

I wish i could use and own every device that comes out XD but hell that'd be much too expensive ahah :P

Hehe true but hey good thing we have our choices, i for myself can't have two phones, the hazzle of switching will trigger my OCD pretty hard hehe, I'm in love with the Mate 9, but still looking forward for V30

I agree... Honor or rather Huawei are great phone.. I am using honor 8 Pro 128gb with 6gb ram and LG G6 love both of them.. But my daily driver is honor 8 Pro as battery life is killer.. 4000mah is too good.. Last me good 2 days

I've been offered a G6 as a straight swap for my regular sized s8 and I'm really tempted. I jumped from the s8 Plus to my last G6 and mostly loved it but I know I regretted a few little things like the poor low light camera (motion blur)on the G6, the front camera and the lack of wireless charging as I keep my phone on a wireless charging stand next to my bed at night as an alarm clock type thing. I dunno what to do. I can't even ask my wife as she'll murder me lol
Lol she'll murder you Why? Change phones often? Sounds like me. I have an S8+, getting a G6 Monday, planning to Jump from the G6 to Note 8.

I jumped ship the HTC U11, great solid device. Was initially thinking about just doing the 14 day trial and returning it. This phone is crazy nice, also it's so nice to have the fps on the front of the phone. This phone also has double tap to wake as well. The only thing I miss is the wireless charging.

So far this is a dope phone. I dare say it does feel alot smoother as well. So far the only thing I miss is bixby and samsung pay.

This has me torn between the note 8 and the v30 whichbare bith coming out soon

Any must knows about the g6 that i may have missed while tinker around the settings menu.
Same here. Sold the s8 plus to get the lg G6 again. Something about LG and a flat screen......
