We all know the same right. Announcement soon. Hopefully next week. Phone sometime by the end of the year. That was said that was fact. Why do we all get so worked up over these maybe dates. If its not out by years end then lets get crazy then. I'm (trying) to wait nicely.

CSR's having no clue is my point. My friend had no idea, just what everyone here already knows, which is that they have gotten material and some training. She had info other times in the past but on this she is clueless. Let's not get off on a big flame war and get this thread locked.

what do you think my point was? i actually specifically stated the same point about CSRs. im not starting a flame war at all. i posted a comical observance that no one here really knows anything and anyone stating CSR info is wasting time. so im not sure where i turned into the flame starter.

LOL oh man, I don't think Verizon knows what they have caused. People are ready to slaughter others over information because Verizon is keeping everyone in the dark. I really hope we get a date this week so everyone can calm down (me included). I really wonder what's taking them so long to announce the date though? Razr and Rezound both got dates right away. What could be going on with this device? I mean, even if the date is not for another 3-4 weeks still let us know.

They didn't want to take sales away from the rezound or razr. I could see an announce coming sometime this week since the razr and rezound will both be in store and available.

The everyday blah phones get released quickly and easily. It's only the devices that people are dying for that drag out. Look at the Thunderbolt (1st lte), the Bionic (1st duel core lte) and now the Nexus (1st pure google and 1st ICS).

I've got to wonder what Verizon's angle is with not announcing a date for this phone yet.

From what I've heard the phone is out of samsung/google's hands and has been for a week or so (i think)

If it's to not take away from the launch of the Razr, they have already announced the Rezound, even prior to the launch of the Razr, so there's really no excuse for not announcing a date

your everyday customer doesn't care one way or the other between all these phones and I'm sure verizon reps will be pushing the razr over them all, so what would be the issue with announcing a date?

If it's because they don't want to announce a date and change it, well, they did that with the Razr by pushing it back a day, so that doesn't hold water either

the only thing i can think is that they are so upset that they can't put bloat on this phone that they are sticking it to google a little bit

Wanted to get razr and rezound in store. Most likely will hear something this week about the nexus since both of those phones are now available in store( well monday for the rezound)

Was playing with a razr today at a store......actually really thought it was nice....anyway the guy came up and tried to talk it up and sell me on it. I told him I was waiting on a phone they were releasing in the next week or so and he smiled and said "oh, you want the Nexus".......he was an old guy so I doubt he spends much time on internet phone forums so obviously he has had some training and or some heads up that this particular phone is coming. Nothing new but at least another sign that were getting close.......I hope.

Ok, ok....you got me......he was probably right around your age....which truth be told is not necessarily "old"........ none the less i would venture a guess that the demographic skews much younger in most forums, this one being no exception......therefore I am making blanket assumptions, based on ignorance and a lack of any actual data that the "old" dude in question does not frequent forums. That's my story and I'm sticking to it damnit!
