How do I transfer pictures from my device memory to my sd card?

Can you give me a little more direction in how to use the my files app to transfer? I'm not very knowledgeable about this at all. Thanks!

Hello Jaimolynn.

Go to the Gallery app on your phone.
Go to the album called Camera, that's where all your pics should be.
Long press (press for a second or two) any picture.
Check all the pics you want to move. Or press above on the right of the gallery app icon and choose select all.
See pic below:

Then, press the menu button (left of Home button) and choose Copy or Move. See below:

After you do that you get this:

If you already have the SD card in the phone you choose Camera, the one with the SD card, not the one with the yellow file.

That's it!

That method works but if you want to create a folder in the sd card then you would have to use the my files app or similar

Just saw your tutorial after I posted my last comment. I used the my files app. Thanks for that, now I know how to move them with the gallery apo as well.

Yeah I figured that out after finding instructions elsewhere on android central. Thank you! Next time I will do a little more searching before I post a question. I think everything I could possibly ask is covered in here somewhere. Very helpful!
