30 pin to USB adapter. Samsung sells them (if you can find them in the stores or order one) or you can get a "knockoff" for about $4 on eBay. With the Samsung, you can either get one 30 pin to USB or 30 pin to SD card. With the USB, you can either use a thumb drive or a card reader that will hold your camera card. There is also one out there that has a USB port and a 30 pin port so you can have USB connection and charging at the same time.
I have 2 of the "knockoff" and both worked fine UNTIL I updated to 4.1.1 and then the thumb drives no longer worked properly. Got the Tab 2 to read SDHC cards and it will read the wireless mouse OK. Not sure why it won't do thumb drives anymore as it worked flawlessly before the 4.1.1 update.
I upload mine to the MicroSD card and then used to make a backup copy to a thumbdrive for a double backup but now I just do the second backup to another/different SDHC card instead of a thumb drive. I also use Quickpic as my picture viewer. Faster, simpler and free. Can't beat free.
Adapters are the simplest way, although depending on what kind of camera you have, you can connect the camera direct to the tablet through USB but if you have a lot of pics and not much battery left on the camera, if you run out of battery, this can be a problem. Also, some of the software that cameras want to have to do the transfer "might not work" with the tablet.
