Transferred Pokemon - Can I get it back?

I got candy or whatever for transferring one to the professor but I didn't mean to transfer it. Can I get it back?

Nope. A transfer is permanent.

Best thing to do is make the ones you want to keep favorites so you can't accidentally transfer them.
