Transferring to SD card

Is there a way to transfer photos from the camera (gallery) to an SD? I want to store photos and clear up space on the phone. I can't do it through my computer (not working) and there's way too many pics to upload to Dropbox or Drive.

Just copy from the phone and paste on your chosen folder on your SD card . I'm assuming you're talking about micro SD card on your phone.
