Although Google provides Pixel users with a data transfer cable called the "Quick Switch Adapter" which saves a lot of time moving over large swaths of pictures and videos from your old phone (*during setup only), it disappointingly lacks the ability to transfer your MMS and Call log.
While there a lot of apps to transfer the call log, not many can copy over the MMS messages. I've found two apps that work fairly well and they offer additional features and functionality over just copying MMS and Call Logs.
I've used both and they both get the job done. Hope this will help some of you yearning to take your MMS and Call logs over to the Pixel.

- Easy Backup & Restore allows you to backup up to your SD Card, Gmail, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or Box account.
- SMS Backup & Restore also backups to Email, Google Drive or Dropbox but adds one other handy feature that Easy Backup doesn't have, which similar to Moto Migrate allows you to fast transfer between 2 phones over WiFi direct. This is helpful if you don't have enough space or don't want to store in the cloud.
I've used both and they both get the job done. Hope this will help some of you yearning to take your MMS and Call logs over to the Pixel.
