so does anyone know when it is going to get pushed out to the transform owners because i dont think they are going to do it the same time as the epic's update. I think they are going to wait and see if the update works on the epic then release it for the transform but i'm not sure.

According to Sprints post, it will be pushed out to all Transform users by the 24th of March. I'm still getting the "your phone is up to date message" however all users will get a message sent to them when the upgrade gets pushed out.

were you rooted, and had you made any modifcations or pure stock

It was never rooted or anything, I wiped it clean last night with sprint too...WTF! LOL

If you're resorting to Sprint tech support to get an OTA update to work, you might want to hold off on rooting.
First, there may be something wrong with the software build on your phone and you might have to take it in for service.
Second, rooting isn't some magic wand that fixes stuff and is easy to do. There are always little caveats and gotchas that have to be considered. If you don't do the research and really understand what rooting gets you, it will come back to bite you later.

I wish Froyo update will come to my phone already and I had my phone rooted but then I unrooted it because 2.2 is supposed to come out. as Averix said rooting can break your phone and I think it also voids the warranty if it breaks while rooting.
